Where are you based?

We keep small offices in both Moscow and New York, but are employees are mostly remote, working from across the U.S.

How old are your students?

We normally work with students ages 11 or older.

How can I learn what kind of university preparation my student needs?

We have designed an evaluation for you to understand what your student needs based on career goals, grades, test scores, and target universities. Go here to complete the assessment.

Do you operate year-round?

Yes. We observe U.S. holidays but will schedule important meetings even on these days.

How many exams will a top student complete?

A truly top student will need to complete the ACT or SAT, the TOEFL or IELTS, 3 SAT Subject Tests and 4+ AP exams, all with top scores.

How long do students work with you?

It depends on the objectives. To complete applications professionally, 7 months is a good amount of time. Improving test scores can be done in the same time period, but to score in the 99th percentile, which is what 90% of our students achieve, most students will need to devote 2+ years. To take advanced courses and get into the best universities, students should work with us for 4+ years.

Are you used to working with Russian students who attend Russian high schools?

Yes. We have worked with students from many of the private and top public high schools in Moscow.

What are the biggest challenges Russian students face when attempting to reach a university like Harvard?

A poor extracurricular résumé and a lack of advanced courses. Most Russian students follow a standard curriculum, but in the U.S., you are expected to compete and do a lot more than other students. Going to Harvard is like going to the Olympics.
